It has been come to news that Panchayats of Jharkhand’s districts Jamshedpur will soon get enrollment camps for enrollment process. The MP Secretary of Jharkhand MR. CH Rammurti gave this information. A letter was written in February to many officials including P Chidambaram, Nandan Nilekani & others by the MP Secretary. In the letter he mentioned that the enrolment centers are far away for 20-30 kilometers from the houses of the villagers and also said that villagers have spent nearly as long as the entire day for aadhaar card enrollment.

The reply letter was sent by Mr. Nandan Nilekani to MP Secretary saying that soon enrolment camps will be setted up in the district of Jharkhand. Director of Unique Identification Authority of India was said to give orders to the government of the state & UIDAI regarding opening up of enrolment camps.

Enrolment camps were set up in the state of Ludhiana by Ludhiana Food & Supply Employee Welfare Association recently in areas of Dana Mandi which is near to Gil Road. On the very first day registration of 30 people were done in the camp. The Chief of Ludhiana said the locals from nearby places can also enroll at the new camps setted up for their aadhaar card. Unique Identification Authority of India has supplied a wide range of technical equipment’s and working staff so that the process is done at a faster rate and people don’t face any problems.

The Overseas wing of Shiromani Akali Dal has also requested for enrolment camps Aery Mill region of Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab. Kaushal Mishra called for the meeting regarding the case and discussions were made regarding setting up of new camps. The administrator of the district was asked to bring new registration camps in the district as the old camps were having long queues of people waiting for their aadhaar card enrollment. Due to this people were facing a lot of difficulty in getting their aadhaar registrations done.
