School students who have not enrolled for their Aadhaar cards yet need not to worry. The schools in Himachal Pradesh will provide their students with the facility to get enrolled in their school campus by setting up enrolment camps. The school administrations have received order from the state government regarding this. The schools have been given a deadline of 3 months from now during which they have to enrol each and every student. Enrolments will be done during the regular school hours only. As per the rules, Aadhaar is compulsory for all those students who want to apply for any scholarship from the government. Under this scheme, the amount of scholarship will be directly transferred into the Aadhar linked bank accounts of all the beneficiaries.

Enrolments in the Bhiwandi region of Thane in Maharashtra will be done in cyber café now onwards. This decision was taken due to the shortage of enrolment centres in this area. Recently it was in the news that people were being charged for each enrolment at these enrolment centres, due to which the venue was shifted to the local cyber cafes. Now the staff members at these cyber cafes will not be able to carry out any such unethical activity because all the computer systems as well as machines in this enrolment centre will always be directly in contact with the head office.

In the Ambala district of Haryana, 10 enrolment centres are to be permanently set up so that people can get themselves enrolled as per their convenience. The Ambala district took this decision after noticing the problems that the people were facing. The state government of Haryana has also announced that all kinds of subsidies in the state will be provided through bank accounts only. And for this purpose, it is necessary that each and every bank account should be linked with the Aadhaar number of the account holder. The government has also asked the people in Ambala to get enrolled for their UID cards as soon as possible. Apart from people who want to get enrolled, all those people who have received their cards and want to make changes in them can visit these enrolment centres in the district.
